To give me the reason
That I have to face another day of this world
To see the work that’s left undone
To hear that from mark, I’m still so far…
I’ll never make it past

To tell me it’s alright
That I seem to fall the same ways time after time
To lift me up from my knees
And to leave the scars behind me
So to realize
I’m not all alone
